Norberto Diver

Norberto Diver, launched in 1996, is a pioneer company on marine tourism activities on the Island of Faial, Azores. Norberto offers a vast array of services including: whale watching and dolphin watching, swimming with dolphins, scuba diving, boat tours, and sport fishing tours. As a “local”, Norberto is very proud of his culture and loves sharing it with visitors. Therefore, don't find it odd if he asks you to try fish broth (caldo de peixe) and a glass of Pico wine.

Visit the Azores and live an aquatic adventure, where you can find the largest animals on earth.

The Azores

The Archipelago of the Azores is located right in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. It is a place where the relationship between man and the sea is natural but intense. Under the influence of the Gulf Stream and with sea temperatures ranging from 17º to 24º C, the Azores offer a very diverse marine life, which includes large marine mammals (blue whale, sperm whale, sardinheiras, and many others) and large groups of several dolphins species (bottlenose dolphins, common dolphins, spotted dolphins, golfinhos riscados, and many others).

Under the blue clear waters marine life is astonishing. Because of that, several media from around the world have lately considered the Azores as one of the few remaining paradises of the Atlantic Ocean. Large groups of manta rays, jacks, Atlantic bonito and tunas are common to be observed in the water column while scuba diving. Also emblematic are the frequent encounters with large and friendly groupers. The Azores are, with no doubt, one of the best places for scuba diving of the whole Atlantic.
