We propose a 2 hours boat tours along the beautiful coast line of the island Faial. This tour usually takes place along the south shore, where we visit the Caldeirinhas Marine Protected Area, the Porto Pim Bay all the way to the Capelinhos volcano. We also visit a number of caves on this tour. Entering these caves with a boat can be a thrilling experience. We have a choice of either a 12 person semi-rigid boat with individual seats or a smaller similar boat with lateral seats.

The tour can start and end in Horta ( Faial ) or Madalena (Pico) depending on the clients wish.

Besides Faial we organize tours to the neighbouring islands Pico, São Jorge and Graciosa.

Pico

This tour includes a whale watching trip with a stop on Pico to visit the Squid and Sperm Whale museum in São João and a visit to the whaler's outlooks in São Mateus. To finish the tour we will take you to a typical small fisherman's restaurant ("tasca" in portuguese) for a cozy and nice fish meal. This tour has a duration of approximately 6 hours and the price includes the whale watching trip, lunch or dinner and the transportation for the museum and outlooks. A minimum of 6 persons is required for this tour .
